Vildan B. Tuncay holds a doctorate in Geographical Sciences (U Laval) and is a lecturer in the Department of Historical Sciences and at the University of The Third Age of the same institution. She specializes in the study of indigenous social movements in Latin America. She is also interested in the patrimonialization of indigenous archaeological objects and the processes of valorization of Caribbean historical centers.
