I study judicial politics and I have extensive experience in Guatemala’s judicial system and its judicial appointments processes (comisiones de postulación). I use theories of political economy and focus on elite decision making in democracies.

Born and raised in Guatemala where I did my BA in Political Science. I came to Tulane’s MA program in Latin American Studies and will be joining the Ph.D. program in Political Science in the Fall of 2024.
